Dual Wavelength Laser Technology

The ADVATx is a solid-state laser, based on our patented pulse synchronisation technology, also known as Soft Pulsing.

It consists of two laser modules, one emitting 1064 nm, the other 1319 nm, and a modular Q-Switch to generate a train of pulses.

These pulses are synchronised and sent simultaneously through an LBO, or non-linear crystal, which combines the wavelengths of the respective 1064 nm and 1319 nm photons to generate 589 nm (yellow light).

Controlled Energy Delivery

Thanks to Soft Pulsing, energy delivery takes place in a controlled manner, with the duration of each pulse and the spacing between pulses significantly shorter than the relaxation time of the vessels. This ensures that energy is delivered precisely and efficiently.

As a result, the correct amount of energy reaches the cells within the Thermal Relaxation Time (TRT) of the epidermis. The body therefore perceives the delivered pulses as a continuous wave of energy, allowing for highly controlled treatment.

Photocoagulation Without Epidermal Damage

This innovation enables longer pulses without damaging the epidermis and generates photocoagulation rather than cell disruption. ADVATx therefore delivers the well-known therapeutic benefits of yellow light while minimising discomfort and avoiding the undesirable side effects associated with PDL (Pulsed Dye Laser).

Dermal Stimulation & Sebum Regulation

The 1319 nm wavelength is delivered as a continuous wave, allowing controlled and gradual heating of the tissue. This supports optimal fibroblast proliferation and helps reduce sebum production from the sebaceous glands.
